Entertainment lobbyists were able to spend millions to craft special legislation (SOPA/PIPA) that would have disregarded the rights of American citizens and profoundly changed the internet as a whole. The reddit and Wikipedia blackouts raised awareness, but we can do more.

I’m pretty sure that SOPA and PIPA are going to be long past discussed by the time this comes out, I’m not saying don’t do it and I’m all up for fighting for your rights but I am sure the effect of this won’t be great. Also who the hell is going to wait another weekend for this to come out? AND THIS IS NOLAN. WE WANT TO BREAK ALL THE RECORDS.

There’s a difference between boycotting any other movie and boycotting the movie of the person that I respect the most. Sorry, if you guys want to do it, go ahead but I’m actually asking friends that don’t even like going to the movies to come the day of the premiere and experience this with me.

Yes, it is a big deal.

Yes, I know Warner has already a lot of money. But this is not for the WB franchise, this is not entirely for the comics (in part it is but not the main reason). Also it isn’t for not supporting the cause. You can’t tell me to wait 7 years and not go to see the last installment. You’re on your own.
